Dave wholeheartedly believes in the Masser Family of Companies’ motto –Grow experiences that nourish. He is passionate about continuing to grow the company and community for generations to come.
Dave grew up in Sacramento, PA. Both of his parents grew up on potato farms in Pennsylvania. He is proud of his pure potato genes. Dave grew up in the business from the ground up, learning how to do all jobs, including making deliveries to our retail partners. He returned to the business in 1999 as VP of Sales before rising to his current position in 2008.
Dave is currently the President of the Masser Family of Companies, which includes Keystone Potato Products, Masser Logistic Services, where he serves as President, and Lykens Valley Grain. Sterman Masser, Inc. was founded in 1970. He is proud to continue the family-owned and operated business.
Dave is the first vice president of the Pennsylvania Co-Operative Potato Growers board and the past chairman of Fresh Solution Network. He is active in many community groups, such as Tri-Valley Youth Athletics Fund and Mountainside Community Center. He is also a leader of faith in his local church and is active with the United Fresh Produce Association via the Fresh Cut Processor Board.
He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Systems Management. The Pennsylvania FFA Association awarded him an honorary state degree, and he was named Mid-Atlantic Master Farmer in 2016 and Vance Publishing 40 under forty.
His hobbies are flying, hunting, spending time with his children, and supporting Penn State Athletics.
Dave has been married to his wife Jamie for 24 years, and they have two children, Samantha and Maxwell.
