Celebrating continual innovation of fresh potatoes, Fresh Solutions Network will exhibit in booth #305 on September 23rd in Nashville, Tennessee

Newport Beach, CA (September 21, 2022) – The Fresh Solutions Network®, represented by Sterman Masser Potato Farms of Sacramento, PA, will exhibit its Side Delights® potatoes at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Innovations trade show on September 23rd, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee. SEPC’s Southern Innovation show highlights the latest innovations within the fresh produce industry.

The fresh potato category continues to be an important category for retail. From July 2021 – June 2022, compared to the same timeframe a year ago, fresh potato sales account for 23% of retail store sales and 28% of volume sold1. Post-pandemic consumers have returned to looking for convenience-oriented potato items when shopping. Fresh potato micro/steamer packages and tray potatoes increased in dollar AND volume sales. Micro/steamer potatoes increased by 4.5% in dollars and by 2.6% in volume, while tray potatoes increased by 8.4% in dollars and by 1% in volume sales.1
