The Fresh Solutions Network Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Kathleen Triou as its new President & CEO. Kathleen brings over 20 years of experience in the food industry, including marketing leadership positions at Avocados From Mexico, the United States Potato Board, Seismicom, (Nielsen) Perishables Group, BPRI, The Almond Board of California, and EJ Gallo Winery. Kathleen’s career, particularly the time she spent at the U.S. Potato Board, has given her actionable insights into shopper behavior and category dynamics which she looks forward to leveraging to enhance our solutions portfolio and to develop integrated business plans that will elevate category performance for our retail and foodservice customers. Kathleen succeeds Sherrie Terry, founding President & CEO, who advised the Board in January that she is leaving to start an independent consulting company. Sherrie provided valuable leadership in taking our business model from concept to reality, and she played a key role in helping us grow from the 3 founding partners to the current 7 partners. Her work in innovation, branding and category management generated incremental volume and revenue for our customers. She is leaving us with an excellent foundation for continued growth. We thank Sherrie for her leadership and commitment to the Network and wish her well in her new venture.
