Chandler began working in the produce business at an early age and has experienced many types of jobs in the industry over the last 30 years. His career began with summer positions during high school and college learning operations, where he was mentored by his father, Arnold. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Marketing in 1995. After college, he worked for a West Coast produce distributor developing an understanding of supply chain management for most fruits and vegetables. He returned to his family’s business in 1999 at the urging of his father and has been working at Mack Farms for the last 23 years, taking on responsibilities in production, operations, management, and sales.
Recognizing that the produce industry has given so much to his family, he has given back by holding board and leadership positions in several produce industry associations. He has been a private pilot for the last 20 years and enjoys traveling with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid hunter, fisherman, and skier.
